New 7 Wonders Of The World





The great Wall of China : (China)





 The fortification is the collective name of a series of systems that are usually built across the historic northern borders of China to protect and consolidate empires against Chinese states and various nomadic groups. Many walls were built by the ancient Chinese states as early as the 7th century BC. The select portions were later joined together by Qin Shi Huang (220–206 BCE), the first emperor of China. The most famous sections of the wall were built by the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644).
The survey found that the entire wall with all its branches was 21,196 km (13,171 mi).


Petra : (Ma'an, Jordan)







Petra originally known to its inhabitants as Raqmu, Petra, a historical and archaeological city in southern Jordan, is located in a basin surrounded by mountains around Jabal al-Madab, forming the eastern coast of the Arabian Valley. Which runs from the Dead Sea to the Gulf of Aqaba. The area around Petra is already inhabited as early as 7000 BC.


Colosseum : (Rome, Italy)




The Colosseum also known as the Flavian Amphitheater Rome, Italy city center. It was the largest amphitheater built at that time and had 50,000 to 80,000 spectators. The Colosseum is located to the east of the Roman Forum. Construction began in AD 72 under Emperor Vespasian and was completed in 80 CE under his successor and Titus. Further amendments were made during the reign of the Dominitian (81–96). These three emperors are known as the Flavian dynasty, and the amphitheater was named in Latin to associate with their family name (Flavius).

Although largely ruined by earthquakes and rock-robbers, the Colosseum is still an iconic symbol of Imperial Rome and listed as one of the New 7 Wonders of the world.


Chichen Itza : (Yucatan, Maxico)






Chichen Itza was a large pre-Colombian city built by the Mayan people in the Terminal Classic period. Chichen Itza is located in Tinum Municipality, Yucatan State, Mexico.

Chichen Itza via the Terminal Classic (c. E. 800–900) was a major focal point from the Late Classic (c. AD 600–900) in the northern Maya Terai regions. And in the early part of the Postclassic period (c. E. 900–1200). Chichen Itza is one of the most visited archaeological sites in Mexico.


Machu picchu : (Cuzco Region, Peru)





Machu Picchu is a 15th-century Inca stronghold located in the eastern Cordillera of southern Peru, perched on a hillside of 2,430 meters (7,970 ft). It is located atop the Holy Valley, Cusco region, Urubamba province, Machupichu district, 80 kilometers (50 mi) northwest of Cuzco. The Urubamba River crosses it, cuts through the Cordillera and forms a valley with a tropical mountainous climate. Most archaeologists believe that Machu Picchu was built as an asset to the Inca emperor Pachai (1438–1472). Often mistakenly known as the "Lost City of the Incas", it is the most familiar icon of the Inca civilization. The Incas built the property around 1450 but later abandoned it a century later at the time of the Spanish conquest. Although known locally, it was not known to the Spanish during the colonial period and remained unknown to the outside world until the American historian Hiram Bingham brought it to international attention in 1911. Machu Picchu is one of the 7 wonders, and it  was built in the classical Inca style, with polished dry stone walls. Its three primary structures are Etihuatana, the Temple of the Sun and the chamber of three windows.



Taj Mahal : (Agra, India)





There is an white marble mausoleum on the southern bank of the river Yamuna in the Indian city of Agra.

It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan (ruled from 1628 to 1658) for the tomb of his favorite wife Mumtaz,  Mumtaz Mahal; It also has the tomb of Shah Jahan himself. The mausoleum is the centerpiece of the 17-hectare (42-acre) complex, which includes a mosque and a guest house, and is set in formal gardens bounded on three sides by a formal wall. Construction of the tomb was essentially completed in 1643, but work continued for the next 10 years in other phases of the project. The complex of the Taj Mahal  have been completed in 1653 at a cost of about 32 million rupees, which would be around 70 billion rupees now, (about  916 million US $) in 2020. The construction project employed some 20,000 artisans under the guidance of a board of architects led by court architects for the Ustad Ahmad Lahori.



Christ the redeemer : (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)






Christ the Redeemer (Portuguese: Christo Ridentore, Standard Brazilian Portuguese: Rio de Janeiro, is an art deco statue of Jesus Christ in Brazil, built by the French sculptor Paul Landowski. Brazilian engineer Heiter da Silva in collaboration with French engineer Albert Cacot Costa. Romanian sculptor Gheorghe Leonida fashioned the face. Built between 1922 and 1931, the statue is 30 meters (98 ft) high, except for its 8-m (26 ft) walkway. Weapons 28 m (92 ft) ) Wide. The statue weighs 635 metric tons (625 tall, 700 short tons), and is located on the summit of the 700-meter (2,300 ft) Corcovado Mountains in Tijuca Forest National Park, located above the city of Rio Janeiro. A symbol of Christianity throughout, the statue has also become a cultural symbol of both Rio de Janeiro and Brazil, and is listed as one of the New 7 Wonders of the world.
