Caspian sea:
The Caspian Sea is the world's largest inland body of water, the world's largest lake located between Europe and Asia The sea has a surface area of 371,000 km² (143,200 sq mi). It is bounded by Kazakhstan to the northeast, Russia to the northwest, Azerbaijan to the west, Iran to the south, and Turkmenistan to the southeast.
Superior lake:
Lake Superior is the largest of the Great Lakes of North America, the world's largest freshwater lake by surface area, Lake Superior has a surface area of 82,103 km², (31,700)square miles.
Victoria lake:
The surface area of Victoria lake is approximately 59,947 square kilometres (23,146 sq mi),and the world's second largest fresh water lake by surface area after Lake Superior. The lake was named after Queen Victoria. The lake's area is divided among three countries: Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
Lake Michigan:
Lake Michigan is one of the five Great Lakes of North America. Michigan is the third largest lake by surface area 58,030 km² (22,404 sq mi), after Lake Superior and Lake Huron. Lake Michigan is the only one of the Great Lakes located in the territory of the United States.

The extent of Balkhash lake is regarding 16,400 km² (6,300 sq mi). The western a part of Balkhash lake is fresh water and whereas the eastern part of lake is saline water.

Lake Tanganyika is that the second oldest freshwater lake within the world. The second largest by volume and also the second deepest, after the Lake Baikal. It is the world's longest freshwater lake.The lake is located in Tanzania, Burundi, and Zambia.

Lake Titicaca is a large and deep freshwater lake in the Andes on the border of Bolivia and Peru, often called the "highest navigable lake" in the world. Lake Titicaca has a surface area of lake Titicaca is about 8,372 km².
Chilika Lake:
Chilika lake is located in Odisha state on the east coast of India, and the second largest brackish water lagoon in the world 1,165 km².The surface area of Chilika lake is about 1,165 km².
